How to use this page
What is a referee?
A referee is a person who writes a recommendation letter for your scholarship application — usually a professor, supervisor, or employer who knows your work well.
Add your referees
Click 'Add Referee' to register each person writing a letter for you. Track one entry per referee per scholarship — a referee writing for 2 scholarships = 2 entries.
Draft & review their brief
Click 'Draft & review brief' on any referee card. Scholify drafts a request brief tailored to that referee, checks it against the LOR guide, and helps you sharpen it before you send.
Deadline is the referee's, not yours
Set the date your referee needs to submit by — usually 7–10 days before the scholarship deadline. This page alerts you when any letter is at risk.
Write the brief yourself
Scholify reviews and sharpens your brief — but only you can supply the real incidents and context. A generic, AI-written brief gets a generic letter back.
