Terms of Service
Effective 29 July 2026 · Plain-language version
These terms explain the working agreement between you and Scholify. They should be read together with the Privacy Policy and the more detailed Rights & Authorization guide.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of scholify.me and the Scholify platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate information and have legal capacity to agree. Scholify is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older; by registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Scholify does not knowingly permit registration by anyone under 18, and an account found to belong to someone under 18 will be closed.
2. What Scholify provides
Scholify provides opportunity discovery, profile and readiness tools, application workspaces, educational guidance, communications, and optional AI-assisted features. Information can change at the official source. Scholify does not guarantee eligibility, admission, funding, a visa, employment, or any other outcome, and does not replace official instructions or qualified legal, immigration, tax, or financial advice.
3. Your account and responsibilities
Keep your sign-in credentials secure, use only your own account, and promptly report suspected misuse. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of your profile, documents, application answers, deadlines, and final submissions. Do not upload material you lack permission to use or attempt to bypass security, access another person's data, disrupt the service, scrape protected content, or use Scholify for unlawful or misleading activity.
4. AI-assisted features
AI features may help research, interpret, organize, review, or suggest improvements. They can be unavailable or incorrect and never turn unsupported claims into facts. Review every output before relying on it. Optional AI processing requires the applicable consent and can be withdrawn in Privacy & Permissions; deterministic and human-supported features remain available where the product supports them.
5. Subscriptions, charges, and expiry
Prices, billing periods, taxes, included features, and any refund terms shown at checkout form part of your purchase. Scholify currently uses one-time payment for the selected period rather than automatic renewal unless checkout expressly states otherwise. Subscription expiry can restrict paid features but does not by itself delete your account under Lifetime Access Assurance. Statutory consumer rights continue to apply.
6. External services and submissions
Scholify may link to official sources and use payment, identity, communications, storage, analytics, or AI providers. Their services may have separate terms. A final external application or payment must be expressly authorized by you; Scholify will not treat an internal draft or simulated action as a completed external submission.
7. Content and intellectual property
Scholify's software, design, brand, original text, and product materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You retain rights in content you submit. You grant Scholify only the permissions reasonably required to store, process, display, and transmit that content to provide features you request, subject to the Privacy Policy and your consent choices.
8. Suspension and termination
Scholify may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, prevent harm, or address a material breach. You may stop using the service and request account deletion through Privacy & Permissions. Required financial, consent, security, or legal evidence may be retained only for the documented purpose and period described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Availability and liability
The service is provided with reasonable care but may be interrupted for maintenance, security, provider failure, or events outside reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, Scholify is not responsible for decisions made by universities, scholarship bodies, visa authorities, payment providers, or other independent third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes, law, and contact
Material changes will be presented with an updated effective date and, when required, a new acceptance event. These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India, without limiting mandatory rights available under other applicable consumer or data-protection law. Questions or complaints can be sent through the Contact page or to the address below.
